Tomato's Tornado's

It is not quite the same, but when Sofia says it they sound Very similar. This evening while en route with the kids to their house, I received a message from Misti stating that Rockwall had a Tornado Warning. You see, here in Rockwall the Tornado Warning means, 'take cover.' We quickly made our way to their home and made it before even a drop of rain fell.
Once Misti arrived we watched the news as the storm sped closer. Brendan pulled out his lantern so we could have some light, it was great thinking on his part! He also informed my mother and I that we could hide three places, Mommies closet, Sofia's bathroom, or the washroom. But not the washroom today because we put Doc Holiday and Wyatt Erp(their labs) in the washroom.
Then, finally, it hits. But only as my mom is talking to my dad on the phone and he says, "These storms always blow over, they never hit Rockwall." And what happens next? But Sofia runs screaming into the living room. Why you ask? Because she heard the Tomato sirens sound and saw lightening. To which my mom tells him, "We are headed into the bathroom to take cover." My dads response, "Oh yeah! you better go then."
I called Joel as we entered cover, he did Not hear the tornado sirens, huh?! Glad I called him. He ushered the dogs into the hall, and soon discovered that the only room in our house with an a/c vent is the hall. Poor guy. I failed to remember to call him once the sirens ended and the major part of the storm had passed. Poor guy he sat in the hall with Smithers scratching!! the door to go lay on the couch, Scout growling and shaking in the corner and Snickers attempting to get someone to play with her. All while Lilly happily lay on the cool wood floor. So I called him as I was leaving my safe haven- oops! I did not mention to him that I had exited my cover spot 20 minutes prior!!!
Sofia was glad once the 'tomato flew away'. However, upon leaving the bathroom she immediately wants us to reenter, as she does not appreciate the thunder and lightening.
We successfully made it through the storm and back home. I am now sandwiched by Lilly the Lab and Snickers being kicked in the kidney's for the umpteenth time today.
