In celebration of my birthday anniversary Joel took me out to dinner. We ate at Zanata; a fabulous local joint that we love. One because it has great service and food, two it is privately owned by two brothers and the Chef.
It was a great night. With each course a new gift was delivered by our fun waiter. With the appetizer was a single red rose(my favorite from Joel). After my main course was my card, which included a lengthy message from my Love. The close of the card had 3 PS's. First was from Jacob: "Skittles says Hi!" Second was Ross: "Keep the chocolate coming!" and Lastly a final message from Joel. It was a great card. To tell the truth I wasn't sure how Joel would beat the last two years of gifts. 2007 I was given a cute little companion, my Snickers. 2008 I woke up for the first time with my son home with me. And this year could not have been a better follow up.
But the best was still yet to come. As our Gelato was delivered so was a red box containing a beautiful necklace. It looks like an upside down heart. But when you look closely it is a mother holding her child. How sweet. It is totally my style(which is not easy to figure).
I know... it totally comes across as bragging, and you are right that is exactly what I am doing. I am so proud to declare that Joel did a Fabulous job planning a great birthday celebration after two spectacular years and the last year we had.
All that is left now... I better start planning his, as his birthday is a week away. Any Ideas?

That's a beautiful necklace Joy. I'm glad you had a blessed birthday. Joel, you're amazing.
God bless you both as you continue to celebrate each other and the love God has given you one for another.

P.S. For Joel's birthday ask him what HE would do for him if he were planning his birthday...he seems to have good ideas! Tee hee.
yeah he always says, "nothing."
...but I am taking him on a sail on our lake.
Great idea! Don't forget the picnic and Dramamine...oh, it's me who needs Dramamine!!
Have fun!
Good job Joel! I'm glad your birthday was so wonderful! I recently heard that chocolate was good for babies in the womb. Ross is a smart kid! :)
