Ross, sleeping with a hand under his chin, much like daddy says mommy does.
He has begun to stay awake and alert for 30 minutes at a time; sometimes even longer. In the past week Ross has even begun to observe faces. Now for getting those wakeful times to be during our wakeful times. But at least for me, my mom and Joel are here to allow me to nap when I need it.
It has been a few weeks and we have yet to settle in completely. Ross is making habits but not the type for which we had hoped. Some nights he and I don't go to bed until morning. Why? We suspect gas.
As it turns out my instinct about Ross has been proved dead on. He is a live wire. Jacob was so clam and easy going I told Joel that the next kid was going to be full of opinions. Jacob is his fathers son and Ross is his mothers. Sure enough Ross is challenging my experience.
Daddy has decided mommy is not allowed to be around when Ross has his screaming matches. Today he sent me out of the house- he made me leave. So off I went, and upon my return the screaming had ceased- GO DAD!He has begun to stay awake and alert for 30 minutes at a time; sometimes even longer. In the past week Ross has even begun to observe faces. Now for getting those wakeful times to be during our wakeful times. But at least for me, my mom and Joel are here to allow me to nap when I need it.
Napping with Mom
A visit from my "cousins." The other day I was explaining to Sofia that Jac and Samantha are Ross' cousins. She informed me that Ross is her cousin too. Of course I could not deny it. Later I overheard Brendan repeating it.
My two babes napping on my lap. They have learned to share with one another.
The quote on the T-Shirt reads, "Nothings Wrong, Just Testing You." Both boys wore this home from the Hospital.

Joy,
I haven't seen many pictures of your husband, but at first glance, I would say Ross looks just like your dad.
Hope you get some rest soon.
