Here I sit, I mean lay. This morning was our typical Tuesday morning. Get up and head straight to the doctors office for our weekly Bio Physical Profile. And then...
The long pause with the over interest in the results from the sonogramist, "Everthing is good." So off to see the OB as is pre scheduled. Upon arrival we are informed by the doctor that Ross' growth rate has slowed, enough to make him concerned. So now we get to add bed rest to the regimen of shots, BPP's and NST's. But wait, there's more! (in the voice of Billy Mays!) Tomorrow we head into Dallas to have a study done on the placentia to see if the slow in Ross' growth is due to a lack of blood flow, the placentia, or ???
So here I lay after 7 hours wondering how it will be possible to maintain this position for 5 weeks. I am allowed up to use the restroom, bathe, and sit just long enough to eat. The worst part is knowing that my role as the "pool chaperone" does not look promising. Just what I need, restriction from my most favorite/most relaxing activity that I look forward to each new day.
Sorry kidos...
On a bit of the brighter side... since laying here Ross has decided he is going to practice his gymnastics. :o)

As Ross is practicing his gymnastics, he has a team rooting for him!
Stand up, touch your toes, jump up, touch your toes. Go Ross Go!! Those exercises are for HIM not you Joy. Your most important exercise for the next 5 (?) weeks is to exercise patience (: Easy for me to say huh? As an added blessing you get your mom to entertain you (does she dance? sing? do card tricks?). And prayer times. Lots and lots of Holy time before the throne of the Father. Visiting, sharing, interceding, growing (a little double meaning there!). "How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!" He is always thinking about you, now you'll always be thinking about Him!! One way or another...
Hugs to you ALL!
Much love as always, Aunt Susan
We'll be praying for you and Ross.
