Garden Praises

I guess God is attempting to tell me, 'Sorry.'

This week He blessed me with new blooms in my garden.

"Thank you, they are Beautiful; though they don't quite measure up. However, I do seem to remember a gift you gave to us long ago that more than makes up for my loss."

Beautiful!

"Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, and all it contains;
Let the field exult, and all that is in it
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy"

Psalm 96:11-12

What beautiful blooms!
A garden continually reminds me that God has a plan. Even when it just looks like dirt, the Gardener of our lives has something beautiful planned! "He makes all things beautiful in His time." Ecc 3:11
Love is a flower rooted in the soul with memories for blossoms to have and to hold.
Just as a garden needs sunshine and rain,
The seasons of life bring laughter and pain.

Immediately upon reading your reflections and seeing your beautiful flowers I thought of this old hymn:

"Gathering Flowers for the Masters' bouquet"

'Death is an angel sent down from above
Sent for the buds and the flowers we love
Truly 'tis so, for in heaven's own way
Each soul is a flower in the Master's bouquet

Gathering flowers for the Master's bouquet
Beautiful flowers that will never decay
Gathered by angels and carried away
Forever to bloom in the Master's bouquet

Let us be faithful till life's work is done
Blooming with love 'til the reaper has come
Then we'll be gathered together someday
Transplanted to bloom in the Master's bouquet'

Hope it blesses you and isn't too long for this blog spot.

Love, A. Susan
