He's already got the whole world around him sized up. He is calm and collects all the attention he can get. If you decide to converse with someone else in the room, he will hold his breath or pull out a tube or an IV so the alarms go off and everyone focuses back on him!! Then the nurse takes him away from Mommy and puts him back to bed. He will soon catch on that Daddy takes Mommy out of the room when he does that. He loves to grasp Mommy's finger when she is holding him. We just have to wait until he reaches the 34th week so he can start sucking instead of lazily lying there as the tube fills his tummy with Mommy's milk. Grandma Ridenour
AWE! Sounds just like Joy, wanting all the attention, so he does something naughty! LOL :-) I'm glad you got a photo up! Keep the human contact - that is what everyone needs - hugs, hugs and more hugs! Thanks for sharing your Happiness and Joy with the rest of us outta state! ~Sharyn
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, for babies grow up, we have learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebbs... ...dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby... ...and babies don't keep.

I got it!
There's an Elephant in the Room
There's an elephant in the room It is large and squatting, so it is hard to get around it. Yes we squeezed by with, "How are you?" and "I'm fine." And a thousand other forms of trivial chatter. We talk abou the weather. We talk about work. We talk about everything else -except the elephant in the room.
There's an elephant in the room. We all know it is there. We are thinking about the elephant as we talk. It is constantly on our minds. For you see, it is a very big elephant. But we do not talk about the elephant in the room. Oh, please, say his name. Oh, please, say "Jacob" again.
Oh, please, lets talk about the elephant in the room. For if we talk about his death, Perhaps we can talk about his life. Can I say "Jacob" and not have you look away? For if I cannot, you are leaving me Alone.....in a room..... With an elephant.

Jacob is too cute!! He looks so healthy for being born early. Congratulations to you both. We are praying for you!
